7 Things You Didn't Know Your iPhone Could Do.
And number 6 will blow your mind.
You clicked.
Of course you did. That headline was designed to make you click. It's called clickbait — and we'll get to that in another article.
But since you're here, let me actually give you 7 genuinely useful iPhone things. No tricks.
1. Back Tap
Double or triple tap the back of your iPhone to do... almost anything. Take a screenshot. Open the camera. Turn on the torch.
Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap
2. Drag and Drop Between Apps
Hold an image, link, or text with one finger. Use another finger to swipe to a different app. Drop it in.
Works between Photos, Notes, Messages, Mail — most apps.
3. Silence Unknown Callers
Tired of spam calls? Your iPhone can send unknown numbers straight to voicemail.
Settings → Phone → Silence Unknown Callers
Saved numbers and recent contacts still ring through.
4. Measure Things
Open the Measure app (yes, you have one). Point your camera at something. It measures it.
Surprisingly accurate for furniture, rooms, boxes.
5. Sign Documents Without Printing
Open a PDF in Files or Mail. Tap the markup icon (pen tip). Tap the + sign. Tap Signature.
Sign with your finger. Done. No printer needed.
6. Shake to Undo
Made a typo? Shake your phone. It asks if you want to undo.
Yes, really. Shake it.
(Mind blown? Probably not. But it's useful.)
7. Find Your Parked Car
If you connect to CarPlay or Bluetooth in your car, Maps remembers where you parked.
Open Maps. Look for "Parked Car."
There you go. Seven real things. No tricks.
