6. How Long I Keep Your Information

  • Contact form enquiries: 2 years from last contact, then deleted

  • Client records and service history: 6 years (required for tax/legal purposes), then deleted

  • Payment records: 6 years (required by HMRC), then deleted

  • Newsletter emails: Until you unsubscribe

  • Website analytics: 26 months (Squarespace default)

After these periods, your data is securely deleted.

7. Who Has Access to Your Information

Only I (the owner of SimpleTech.Solutions) have direct access to your personal information.

Third-party services I use:

  • Squarespace — Website hosting and forms (USA, Privacy Shield compliant)

  • Stripe — Payment processing (USA, PCI-DSS compliant)

  • Google Workspace — Email (USA, Standard Contractual Clauses)

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and is GDPR-compliant. They only process data on my behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.

I will never share your information with anyone else except:

  • If required by law (e.g., court order, HMRC)

  • To protect against fraud or security threats

  • With your explicit consent

8. International Transfers

Some of my third-party service providers are based in the USA. When your data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by:

SimpleTech.Solutions does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without parental consent.

SimpleTech Kids services are provided to parents/guardians, not directly to children. Any information about children is provided by their parent or guardian.
